From your first profile to your first meetup — here's what happens.
You create your profile
Signing up takes under a minute. If you want good matches, the full profile with photos, interests and the personality quiz takes about five. You choose whether you're looking for love, friendship, or both — and from there your profile grows from what you do: interests, answers, badges and activities.
You share your first Glimpse
A daily snapshot that disappears after 24 hours. It doesn't need to be perfect. In fact, better if it isn't. Others can see what you're doing right now and use it as a conversation starter.
You find an activity that interests you
Photo challenges, cooking, book recommendations, hikes — you join something you love, and discover others who do the same. Now you already have something in common.
You send a conversation invitation
You see someone interesting — maybe you joined the same activity, or a Q&A answer caught your eye. You send 3 personal opening questions. No "Hey". Just curiosity.
At 8pm we go live
Every evening 8-9pm the whole community is online at the same time. The anonymous chat opens, and right after, tonight's game begins. This is where the spontaneous meetings happen.
You meet in real life
Someone creates an event — a walk, a coffee meetup, a cooking class. You've already talked, you share interests, and you know who each other is. It's not a blind date. It's the next step.
An evening on Klokken20 — minute by minute
What actually happens during the hour, from open to close. In the app, the hour is called Livetimen.
8:00pm — the hour opens
Today's Glimpses are revealed to everyone who shared one themselves — one everyday photo per person, so you see what people actually do. At the same time the anonymous chat opens: five-minute conversations where neither of you can see who the other is. You can play the Duet Quiz along the way, and identities are only revealed if you both say yes. The daily emoji warm-up gets things going.
Around 8:15pm — tonight's game begins
One shared game per evening, on rotation: the Shared Canvas, Heart Dilemma, Two Truths & a Lie, the Match Quiz or Agree/Disagree. Friday to Sunday the community votes on what to play — and the statements in Agree/Disagree are submitted by users themselves.
Around 8:45pm — the reveal on match nights
On evenings with the Match Quiz or the Heart Dilemma, the reveal lands at a quarter to nine: you meet the person who answered most like you — with your answers as the natural conversation starter.
9:00pm — the hour closes
The hour is over until tomorrow — but what it started keeps going. Profiles, conversations, invitations, activities and events run around the clock, so you can follow up whenever it suits you.
