The services, one by one
Klokken20
Klokken20 sits in the table on the same terms as everyone else: free for the rest of 2026 when you sign up while the founding member intake is open — no lock-in, no paid visibility boosts. If a paid tier arrives after 2026, it is meant to buy convenience, not priority in matching.
Dating.dk
Dating.dk is one of Denmark's oldest and best-known dating sites. Its strengths are the Danish user base and local singles events. The downside is that even basics like reading a message require payment.
Single.dk
Single.dk swaps swiping for a thorough match quiz on personality, relationships and values — the idea being fewer but better matches. In return, its prices are the steepest in this index, and the lowest ones require up to 6 months of commitment.
Tinder
Tinder is one of the world's most-used dating apps. The swipe format makes it quick to get started, but Tinder itself says both prices and features vary from user to user — so what Gold costs you, specifically, is something you only find out inside the app.
Hinge
Hinge markets itself as "the dating app designed to be deleted" and leans on in-depth profiles rather than swiping, which gives you more to open a conversation with. But free users get a limited number of likes, and several features require Hinge+ or HingeX.

Bumble
On Bumble, women generally make the first move, and a match expires after 24 hours if nobody writes. That sets a different pace from most apps — but it also adds time pressure, and add-ons like Spotlight and SuperSwipe give extra visibility to those who pay.
Happn
Happn shows you people you have physically crossed paths with — at the café, on the train, around the neighborhood — turning chance encounters into potential matches. Several key features, like seeing who has already liked you, do require a subscription or coins.
Methodology and updates
Prices are collected from the services' own payment pages, official help centers, and Apple's Danish App Store, which shows actual in-app prices in DKK. Where a service uses dynamic or personalized pricing — Tinder in particular — we list the price range we saw in our sample rather than a single figure.
Prices on Android, on the web, or on a service's own site may differ from what we found in the App Store. We update the index quarterly, and every figure links to its source so you can check it yourself.
