Yes, absolutely. You choose whether you're looking for love, friendship or both. The activities — walks, board games, cooking, art exhibitions — are open to everyone, and you don't need to be looking for a partner to join.
They can, but most are designed to keep you on the app — not to help you find someone. Klokken20 is different: our goal is to move you from the screen to the real world as quickly as possible. Events, activities and Livetimen are all designed for real meetings, not endless swiping.

No. We don't believe you should be able to buy your way to love. If a paid version arrives later, it will make the platform easier to use — it will never give anyone priority in matching or extra visibility. No Boost or Priority Likes.
No. During the launch period there is no subscription and no payment card linked to your profile. There is nothing to cancel, and you will never be charged automatically if a paid version arrives later.
On Klokken20 people send conversation invitations rather than "likes". During the launch period everyone can see who has sent them an invitation — nothing is locked behind payment. It is about quality and context, not quantity.
Safety & Privacy
Yes. All profile photos are reviewed manually before they become visible. You can report and block in a couple of taps, your data is encrypted and handled under GDPR — and no one can start a conversation with you unless you have said yes first.

Yes, that's the plan. MitID verification (Denmark's national digital ID) is on the way as an extra layer of trust on top of the manual photo review and photo verification every profile goes through today. We'll announce it in the app when it's ready.
Yes. You can block any user via their profile. Blocked users can't see your profile, send you invitations or contact you in any way.
No, never. Klokken20 does not sell your data. We are GDPR compliant, and our user database is located in the EU (Frankfurt). We only use your data to provide and improve the platform. Read our full privacy policy for details, including which data processors we use.

The anonymous chat opens — 5-minute conversations without seeing each other — and right after, tonight's game begins, a new one each day, some evenings chosen by the community. A relaxed, low-pressure way to meet people — like a digital Friday bar.

Yes. Klokken20 shows your match percentage and the main reasons behind it — shared interests, values and question answers. Matching is built on your personality and what you actually do on the platform, so you never have to guess why you are shown to each other.
Glimpses are daily snapshots that disappear after 24 hours. They give an honest look into your daily life and work as natural conversation starters. Think Stories — but with a purpose.
When you want to start a conversation with someone on Klokken20, you send 3 personal questions based on their profile. It replaces the empty "Hey" and ensures conversations start with substance and curiosity.
Activities are shared experiences where Klokken20 users share creative content, hobbies and interests. You can create and join activities like photo challenges, cooking, hiking and much more. A way to show who you are through action, not just words.
